The repeated promises of representatives of the Ukrainian delegation to publicize their position on the proposals of the ICRC regarding the mechanism for paying pensions. Until now the position has not been implemented in the work of the group.
The DPR Plenipotentiary emphasized that the issue of the mechanism of pensions payment is the most important topic of the economic group. The restoration of social and economical ties is the basis of the relevant block of the Minsk Agreements: “The Kiev authorities are absolutely inactive on the most important issues of solving the social problems of citizens suffering as a result of military aggression unleashed by Ukraine in Donbass.
The UN representatives are not the first time urging Kiev to remove complications in pension payment to all citizens, regardless of the status of temporary displaced person and name the established procedure for obtaining pensions in Ukraine as discriminatory, thereby supporting the position of the Republics.
Despite all the efforts of the OSCE SMM, the Ukrainian party did not send an updated request to the JCCC to restore the communication link damaged on January 11, 2018.
The question of the joint paying off the debt of Vodafone for electricity remains unchanged, but the Ukrainian party is still evading financial obligations.
“We regard this behavior of official Kiev as a deliberately delaying the restoration of the full-fledged work of the mobile operator Vodafone” - Natalia Nikonorova said.
As well as the DPR, the coordinator of the OSCE SMM Mr. Fisher positively assessed the interaction of the parties in terms of coordinating and carrying out large-scale repair work on three sections of South Donbass water pipeline directly on the contact line, calling them an unprecedented achievement in easing the lives of Donbass residents.
The coordinator of the working group on security issues Ambassador Apakan joined the positive assessment of this fact, and noted the progress in agreeing to carry out repair work on other equally important civilian infrastructure facilities on both sides of the contact line.
"I will note that it became possible through the mediation of the OSCE SMM at the level of the JCCC, by which all necessary activities were organized and carried out" - Natalia Nikonorova emphasized.
