Yesterday, on the 5th of March, it came to our knowledge that the legislators of the United States House of Representatives called on Barack Obama to approve lethal weapons supplying to Ukraine. Apart from that, the Chief of General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces Mieczysław Gocuł during his visit to Lithuania stated that Warshawa would make a decision to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People`s Republic expresses deep concern towards the possibility of military aid to Ukraine.

Against the background of signed Minsk agreements, such actions of the USA and Poland are considered to be inadmissible, breaching international conventions.

We believe, that lethal weapons supplying to Ukraine is unacceptable. By making such steps, the Ukrainian side demonstrates its unreadiness to implement Minsk agreements and to settle the conflict peacefully.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR calls on the international community to pay attention to this situation. We underline our intensions to demand thorough investigation of these facts from international authorities.
