The representative of the US State Department in Ukraine, Kurt Volker, confirmed the desire of the United States, and, consequently, of Ukraine, to disavow Minsk agreements and disrupt the peaceful negotiation process. Mr. Volker has repeatedly proved himself a supporter of the most destructive and counterproductive initiatives against Donbass. It is not surprising that this time the special envoy of the US State Department supports the plan, not understood and not supported, even by the OSCE and the UN, and which is fundamentally contradicts provisions of the Complex of measures. It is quite obvious that behind the so-called “Sajdik plan” there were initially US interests that deliberately lead the negotiation process to a dead end, prolonging conflict at the borders of Russia and continue to exert pressure on it.
The main idea of “Sajdik plan” and Poroshenko’s statements on the UN operation in Donbass also raise suspicions that both have one authorship. Attempts to promote the destructive ideas of Kiev and their overseas curators have nothing to do with the implementation of the Minsk agreements and directly contradict them. The only one method of political settlement remains the direct and rigorous implementation of the Complex of measures, which primarily involves the coordination with the Republics of any initiatives to resolve the conflict.
