Yesterday, on June 28, 2017, under the pressure of Ukrainian authorities through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Ostrava Regional Court decided to liquidate the DPR Representative Center, thereby contradicting its own previous decision to register this organization. The DPR Representative Center in Ostrava was registered as a non-profit public organization in accordance with all the norms and requirements of the Czech legislation. We regret to ascertain the direct manifestation of the policy of double standards, undisguised censorship, the lack of the basic principles observance of the democratic state structure.
Despite this, head of the DPR Representative Center in the Czech Republic, Nela Liskova, informed us that an appeal to the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic is currently being prepared. Our sympathizers are doing their best to support the DPR Representative Center in the Czech Republic and continue to help the Donbass people abroad.
We are also not going to stop the process of establishing contacts and developing cooperation with representatives of the Czech public. Indignation and opposition of the Ukrainian authorities only shows that we are on the right way, and it is an indisputable motivation for more active effort to build up cooperation between the Republic and other countries.
