The opening of occurrence against Donbass public figures and officials, who are collecting evidence of war crimes of the Ukrainian security forces, clearly demonstrates the Ukrainian regime essence. Kiev authorities are trying to cover up the traces of their illegal actions and drown out the people’s voice by any means. This absurd initiative is extremely humiliating for a country that declares its commitment to democracy and the rule of law. Such way Mr. Zelenskiy is going to bring peace to Donbass, declaring us all terrorists? Now, is every teacher and doctor working in Donbass ia a criminal and a terrorist by default? If President Zelenskiy sees the world like this, then it is a dead end. For real changes the new Ukrainian government should radically change its approach and not to repeat the path of Poroshenko regime.

Such actions by Ukraine are not surprising and even predictable, but their approval by the representative of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Matilda Bogner causes some bewilderment. We hope that the support of absurd steps following the results of  “good work” of the Ukrainian regime representatives, whose activities Ms. Bogner noted at a briefing at the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office, is due to recent assumption of office. We hope that the lack of information and time for the new representative of the UN mission will be filled in to better understand the situation, and the mission’s mandate will be fulfilled in accordance with the principles of impartiality and objectivity. We believe that justice will be restored, including due to the work of the Special Committee on recording and collecting the evidence of war crimes of the Ukrainian authorities in Donbass, and all those guilty of war crimes will be deservedly punished.
