The informational provocations that the representatives of Ukraine make with regularity have become so frequent and far from reality that a fair question arises - is there even any one sane person who takes them seriously.
Speaking about the fact that Kiev allows a way out of the Minsk process if it “goes on forever”, Mr. Pristayko calls into question his own competence as the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain why the official, considered the main diplomat of the Ukrainian state, can afford to declare absolute neglect of the Minsk agreements, which are the only effective plan for a peaceful settlement of Donbass conflict. With the same carelessness, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine makes it clear that he and the state he represents are indifferent to all the efforts of the guarantor countries of the Minsk agreements, and even the UN Security Council, which approved the Complex of measures by its resolution, thereby giving this document the status of international legal act. Kyiv is not even embarrassed by the fact that its “Western partners” will be unhappy if Minsk process is disrupted - Mr. Pristayko openly admits that he is aware of this consequence. In addition, the chief of Ukrainian diplomats inadvertently overlooked the fact that the negotiation process is made “endless” by the Ukrainian party, which constantly sabotages and deliberately delays discussion and decision-making at meetings in Minsk. But none of the above stops the Ukrainian authorities from making absurd statements.
Once again, we urge Ukrainian representatives to return from the world of illusions to our earthly reality and finally realize a simple truth - not a single provocative statement will help to avoid fulfilling its obligations under the Minsk agreements. It is high time for Kiev to realize and accept this fact and finally begin to construct, which consists in effective and conscientious activities to implement the points of the Complex of measures in coordination with representatives of the Republics.
