On June 11, Ukrainian saboteurs entered the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic and committed a flagrant act of aggression - five servicemen of the LPR People's Militia were shot from a point-blank range.
We regard this as a brutal and despicable murder of the Donbass defenders, as another bloody crime of Kiev. This situation is a gross violation of the Measures signed on July 22, 2020 to strengthen the ceasefire, which prohibit, among other things, the activities of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and all the more cynical against the background of all the "peaceful" statements by the Ukrainian leadership about a decrease in the number of shelling and ceasefire commitment.
We categorically condemn this situation and demand from Ukraine strict compliance with its obligations under the ceasefire regime. Donbass does not intend to endure such treacherous provocations and is ready to take measures necessary for the appropriate response and protection of our residents.
The Ukrainian authorities should be fully aware that such a flagrant violation not only of the agreements reached on the Minsk platform on the observance of the ceasefire, but of all international principles and rules regarding armed conflicts will inevitably entail corresponding consequences. We also call on the world community and, first of all, the guarantor countries of the Minsk agreements, to immediately implement all possible methods of influencing Kiev in order to investigate the circumstances of this crime and bring persons related to it to justice.
