Today, on the 20th January 2015, the Ukrainian artillery massively attacked Donetsk, including territory bordered on the local executive committee of the Kievskiy district. As a result of shelling, according to present information one person is killed and up to ten are heavy wounded. The bus stop, the shop and the part of transmission line are completely destroyed. It is worth mentioning that shelling incident took place at the moment of service water supplying of inhabitants, practically in an hour after announcing.

In this connection the Ministry of Foreign Affairs finds it necessary to state the following:

Present fact, being another war crime committed by Kiev regime, is an evidence of the Ukrainian government`s desire to cause maximum damage directly to civilians and civil infrastructure of the DPR, that is a flagrant violation of conventional international law which Ukraine was obligated to observe.

The barbarian character of this shelling recalls rather distinctly about quite recent tragedy near Volnovakha, and as a result of which the civilians of the DPR were also killed. In order to conduct fast and objective investigation for establishing and making answerable for it committers of a crime, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs suggests creating trilateral investigatory group involving the representatives of the DPR, the OSCE, and Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR condemns strongly all crimes against the humanity and calls on once again the international community to exert influence on cessation of Donbass tragedy.
