Delegations of the DPR and LPR held a series of meetings with colleagues from the Russian Foreign Ministry

From March 22 to March 25, Moscow hosted a series of working meetings between representatives of the foreign ministries of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic with colleagues from the Russian Federation.

The DPR delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Mikhailova. The head of the delegation of the fraternal Republic was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR Vladislav Deinego.

During the visit, the heads of the delegations of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Andrey Rudenko. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, including the establishment of full-fledged connections between fraternal states.

Consultations were also held on relevant issues with other colleagues from the Russian Foreign Ministry: Director of the Second Department of the CIS countries Alexei Polishchuk, Director of the Department of Information and Press Maria Zakharova, Director of the Department of State Protocol Igor Bogdashev, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Mail Viktor Popov, Deputy Director of the Consular Department Andrey Frolov, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department Anatoly Kargapolov.

In addition, delegates from the Republics of Donbass met with Ambassador-at-Large Azamat Kulmukhametov, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yevgeny Primakov, representatives of the Diplomatic Academy and the Main Production and Commercial Directorate for Servicing the Diplomatic Corps under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

During the series of meetings, the parties considered the details and aspects of cooperation within the established official contacts, the procedural aspects of opening embassies, mutual participation in the events of the Russian Federation and the Republics of Donbass, as well as other issues according to the current agenda.
