Foreign delegates took part in a prayer service of 40 days since the death of Alexander Zakharchenko

Today, on October 9, a prayer service and a mourning rally were held at the burial place of the first DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, at the “Donets Sea” cemetery.
DPR Head Denis Pushilin, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, Acting LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Kazbek Taisayev, Dmitry Sablin and Andrey Kozenko, as well as the DPR Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Nikonorova, LPR Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladislav Daynego, other heads of ministries and departments of the DPR and LPR, deputies of the DPR People's Council, representatives of local authorities, relatives and colleagues of Zakharchenko.
“There are no words that could
discribe the feelings of Donbass residents now. This is an grievous loss. And it is not just words. To this day I can not believe that everything has changed. Unfortunately, we suffered a tragedy. What is left to do? It remains for us, with clenched fists and teeth, to continue the fighting, to continue the struggle, and to make the country that Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko dreamed of and was striving for” - Acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said.
“The pain that has been tormenting each of us for forty days
does not stop. And each of us feels that we miss Alexander Vladimirovich. But life goes on, and I am sure that everyone, who knew Zakharchenko, knew about his desire and striving for peace in Donbass, would do everything possible for that. The name of Zakharchenko will be like a flag, a symbol of freedom for the Donetsk People's Republic!” - President of the Republic of South Ossetia said.
