LPR and South Ossetia signed the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance

On December 19, the Republic of South Ossetia and the Lugansk People's Republic signed the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. The document was signed by the Heads of two Republics, Anatoliy Bibilov and Leonid Pasechnik.

Signing of the Treaty took place in framework of the first official visit of the LPR Head to South Ossetia. A delegation of the Lugansk People’s Republic includes the Chairman of the People’s Council Denis Miroshnichenko and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladislav Daynego.

Also during this visit, the LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik awarded RSO President Anatoliy Bibilov with the Order of Friendship.

"This is the Order of Friendship at number one. You have recognized us as the first and you are the only ones, who received an order from the LPR" - Leonid Pasechnik noted.

The corresponding decree of the LPR Head discribes that the Order of Friendship is awarded for special merits in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation with the Lugansk People’s Republic, fruitful activities, mutual assistance and support, as well as significant personal contribution to the development of economic, scientific and technical ties.
