DPR MFA built ties with Israeli political writer Avigdor Eskin

In the framework of program realization on information spreading about inner and foreign policy of the Donetsk People`s Republic, social economic, cultural and spiritual life of the country, the DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs built ties with Israeli political writer and public person Avigdor Eskin. Eskin has prepared an article in which he draws historical parallels between Israel and young Republics.

Avigdor (Viktor) Eskin was born in April 26 1960 in Moscow. Eskin`s father comes from famous rabbinic family in Belarus. Grandfather on the side of mother was shot down under 58 article during Stalin’s terror in 1938.

In 1979 he moved to Israel where he entered yeshiva in Kiryat Arba. He did military service in Israeli Defense Forces, taking part at hostilities in Lebanon in 1982. From 1983 he heads movement «New right-wing of Israel» together with the member of Knesset from the party «Likud» Mikhael Kleiner.

From 1981 to 1985 he spent a lot of time in the US, mostly in Washington where he lobbied Israel interests in defense of Soviet Jews. In 1983 he collected 98 signatures of Senate parliamentaries appealing to Soviet government lift a ban to study Hebrew in the USSR.

Avigdor Eskin is an author of hundreds of articles on Hebrew and English, and thousands of articles on Russian. He issued three books: «Israel. Faith. Truth» (2000), «Interpretation to Book of Psalms» (2005), and «Tikkun HaKlali» (2006).

He sets himself up as a true patriot of Israel and Jewish traditionalist striving for strengthening of ties with Russian conservatives.

Eskin is a frequent guest in talk show with Vladimir Solovyov («Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov»), on «Russia-1» channel and on radio Vesti FM («Direct contact with Vladimir Solovyov»).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR supports an initiative of foreign journalists who are ready to tell their compatriots about real events happening in Donbass.

Today, when Donetsk People`s Republic continues living under conditions of informational blockade, it is very important to know for DPR citizens they are not alone. Such active people as Avigdor Eskin help us to inform world community about true events. This true sooner or later will be revealed.
