December 20-21, 2015, the DPR Foreign Minister Aleksandr Kofman visited festive events – fairy musical «New Year tumult» in Kuibyshev Palace of Culture and the holiday dedicated to the Saint Nicholas Day in Dzharty Municipal Palace of children and youth art (Makeyevka). The events were also attended by Russian State Duma members Kazbek Taisaev and Vladimir Rodin.

According to the members, comparing with the last year the situation in the Republic has changed for the better. A year ago such events were held in cold halls under ongoing thunder of cannon. Today, owing to efforts of the DPR Head Aleksandr Zakharchenko and all citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic, it became possible to organize a holiday for children in a warm and decorated hall with sound of cheerful New-Year music.

Also the guests noticed pleasant changes in the smallest Donbass citizens – children with no longer fear in their eyes. On the contrary, all children are in a good mood and waiting impatiently for the New Year coming.

In return the DPR Foreign Minister Aleksandr Kofman thanked Kazbek Taisaev and Vladimir Rodin for attention and support of Donbass citizens. Today, when Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics go through challenging times their citizens should know that they are not alone and they can always count on fraternal Russian people.

During trip around DPR and LPR cities, on behalf of the Russian State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin, the members presented 1300 New Year sets for children of military servicemen, temporary migrants and vulnerable groups.
