Today, on June 3, Natalia Nikonorova, DPR Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in a briefing on the results of the event “Angels”.
The event was also attended by the DPR People’s Council deputy, the head of the public organization “Young Republic” Kirill Makarov and the executive director of the “Russian Center” Elena Evseeva.
Natalia Nikonorova drew attention to the fact that in 2019 new non-CIS countries joined the action:
“I would like to note that this year the geography of foreign participants in the action has expanded significantly. The event was supported not only by our like-minded people from European countries, in particular from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Italy, but also by representatives of Pakistan and Bangladesh.”
She also stressed that during 5 years of Donbass conflict more than 119 children are killed:
“During 5 years of conflict, 119 children were killed and 310 children were injured as a result of hostilities by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. These flagrant crimes against humanity are not subject to amnesty and cannot be forgiven. We will make every effort to ensure that the perpetrators are responsible for the offenses committed. We are forming an evidence base for every war crime of the Ukrainian authorities.”
At the end of her speech, Natalia Nikonorova thanked all participants of the “Angels” event, both in the Donetsk People's Republic and abroad.
