Yesterday, on April 10, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Natalia Nikonorova took part in the roundtable: “Humanitarian program for the reunification of the Donbass people: Problems and Perspectives”.
Event was attended by the DPR Head, Alexander Zakharchenko, DPR Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova, DPR Acting Minister of Healthcare Alexander Oprishchenko, DPR Acting Minister of Labor and Social Policy Larisa Tolstykina, DPR Minister of Emergency Situations Alexei Kostrubitsky, DPR Acting Minister of Culture Mikhail Zheltyakov, and representatives of the relevant Ministries, departments and agencies.
According to the DPR Head, Alexander Zakharchenko, people, who live in the territories under Ukraine's control, are brothers and sisters, relatives and friends of the inhabitants of our Republic. “We are obliged to do our best to prove these people that they are not abandoned, we are one people everywhere - in Mariupol, as well as in Donetsk” - stressed Alexander Zakharchenko.
Natalia Nikonorova noted that the Humanitarian program for the reunification of the Donbass people is being recognized by more and more residents of the territories under Ukraine's control, the amount of citizens calling to the “hot lines” and visiting the site of GumCenter is expanding. According to the Foreign Ministry Head, “hot lines” of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the Donbass people have got about 3000 appeals, most of them were on issues of receiving free medical services in the territory of the Republic.
Natalia Nikonorova also stressed the importance of ensuring environmental security in Donbass: “If the critical facilities are improperly operated, the risk of emergency incidents increases significantly. It is extremely important regular to monitor the conditions of such enterprises, therefore a joint inspection was established on monitoring environmental safety in the framework of the environmental block of the Humanitarian Program.”
