Natalia Nikonorova has made a presentation on the outcome of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR 2016

According to the agenda of the plenary session, in the framework of the annual government hour, the deputies have heard a presentation of the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Natalia Nikonorova.

Natalia Nikonorova summed up the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the reporting period in her report.

"Achieving sustainable peace through diplomatic means in the Minsk negotiation process, representation of the Republic in the political group, the implementation of the Package of Measures are the fundamental tasks that have been solved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic during the reporting period. Even now in the Minsk process, Donetsk People's Republic has established itself as a reliable partner in the negotiations, who implements its obligations. We are in favor of strict and rigorous compliance with all the documents signed by all parties of the conflict (the Protocol of the Tripartite Contact Group of 05/09/2014, Memorandum of 19/09/2014, Package of Measures on the implementation of the Minsk agreements of 15.02.2015) and we do everything necessary to implement the Minsk agreements."

Also the Acting Foreign Minister said that in 2016 the global public interest of the Donetsk People's Republic is significantly increased - during the reporting period our country has been visited by 53 delegations from the Luhansk People's Republic, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Russian Federation, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Finland, Serbia and the Czech Republic.

According to Natalia Nikonorova one of the key areas of foreign policy of the Donetsk People's Republic is the informational constituent. In the context of military and information aggressions this sphere becomes strategic in the Republic. In the framework of public diplomacy and strengthening of the Donetsk People's Republic on the international scene - two Representative Centers of the DPR were opened abroad in 2016: on September 1, inOstrava (Czech Republic), on December 14, inTurin (Italy). To date other Representative Centers in the European Union are to be opened – the documents in three states have been already submitted for registration and the same statute of the DPR Centers has been adopted.

Natalia Nikonorova has reported on the work of the Special Committee on recording and collecting the evidence of war crimes of the Ukrainian authorities in Donbass, which was created according to the order of the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic №78 of May 30, 2016: "In the framework of the Special Committee 1084 cases have been already formed (materials for the period from June 2014 to November 2016). All the materials are made in the proper form and in accordance with the decision of the Special Committee are transmitted to the public for further submission to international courts."

At the end of the speech Natalia Nikonorova thanked the deputies for the fruitful joint work and expressed hope for further cooperation.
