On February 5-6, a delegation of German politicians and businessmen visited Donetsk. The delegation included a member of the Berlin Chamber of Deputies, a member of the International Commission on Human Rights, Gunnar Lindemann, deputy chairman of the National Forum of Representatives of Medium-sized Enterprises, member of the board of the regional branch of the Alternative for Germany party, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Richard Gretzinger, member of the National Forum of Representatives of Medium-sized Enterprises, professor Henning Zoz.
During the visit, guests from Germany held a number of meetings with the leadership of Republic, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Nikonorova, the Minister of Economic Development Alexei Polovyan and the Minister of Industry and Trade Eduard Armatov. These meetings were devoted to discussing the prospects for further cooperation between the Republic and Germany, including in the field of business and investment.
Also, the German delegates visited the Legatus Youth Diplomacy Center and Donetsk National University, where meetings were held with students and the media. In addition, foreign representatives visited a children's social center, the director of which was given material resources collected by caring residents of Germany, and a neurological hospital, where guests examined medical equipment and talked with doctors and patients.
