On December 10-15 in Moscow, a research and educational program “Dialogue in the name of the Future - 2016” was attended by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The key project of the Gorchakov Fund was held for the sixth time. During five days of intensive intellectual activities, lectures and seminars, forty participants from over 15 countries exchanged opinions with colleagues from other countries, learnt straight from the source about the situation in neighboring states and discussed current issues of today’s foreign affairs with respected Russian and foreign analysts. Meetings with well-known public figures and politicians became an important part of the agenda.
The participants of the research and educational program also met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who answered numerous questions from members of the Gorchakov Club. The discussion topics were the new concept of Russian foreign policy, pressing issues of international relations, prospects for cooperation of public organizations.
“Dialogue in the name of the Future” is an annual research and educational project of the Gorchakov Fund implemented since 2011. The aim of the project is creation of a platform for discussion of urgent international problems through a prism of public diplomacy by young international relations experts, political analysts, journalists, representatives of research institutions and civil society from Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States.
