The students invited colleagues from youth organizations of Russia, LPR, South Ossetia, Abkhazia for participation. A lively and intense discussion took place, considering a topic that is now extremely relevant: why do Western countries prefer to ignore the crimes committed by Kiev in Donbass? Why do politicians, public figures and ordinary residents of foreign countries, not talking about international institutions and organizations, hide the fact of the genocide in our territory?

During the discussion, teleconference participants agreed to make every possible and necessary effort to break the existing information blockade.

We welcome that our youth understands the importance of fighting for truth, for distribution of objective information about the situation, which has been going on for 8 years in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

The DPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs also believes that it is necessary to use all available channels of communication and platforms in order to open world’s eyes to the truth. And public diplomacy, a vivid example of which was demonstrated today by Legatus students, is a very effective tool in this difficult but important activity.

We join the participation and will share photos and videos on social networks under the hashtag #ДонбассбеZгеноцида#NoGenocideInDonbass, reflecting consequences of crimes of the Ukrainian authorities in Donbass.

We also hope that the sent open letter from the youth of the DPR, LPR, the Russian Federation, South Ossetia and Abkhazia will reach the addressees in the high offices of the UN, the OSCE and the global media, as well as will be properly perceived.
