The DPR Deputy Foreign Minister took part in the round table «Women against the extremism» (Moscow, Russia)

08 April 2016

Today, 8 April,  the DPR Deputy Foreign Minister Olga Parfinenko took part in the round table «Women against the extremism» in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Olga Parfinenko stressed while presenting her report «The fighting of the Donetsk People’s Republic against the extremism in the Ukrainian punitive battalions» that very soon the state Donetsk People’s Republic turns two years. Bloody fights, ongoing shelling of the cities, humanitarian crisis, economic and transport blockade – this is not nearly a full list of challenges the citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic had to face with.  Manfully and bravely the citizens of Donbass defended their native land – the same as during the Great Patriotic War as the neo-Nazi are trying to occupy our land again.

Olga Parfinenko turned the special attention of the present at the increase of the extremism among the Ukrainian punitive battalions the servants of which use the most radical measures towards the citizens of Donbass. The military aggression of the Ukrainian junta has already took away the thousands of lives, destroyed dozens of thousands of the residential buildings, objects of civil infrastructure and forced millions of people to leave their native homes.

At the end of her report the DPR Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that the citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic would never stop fighting for their freedom and independence.

It should be underlined that the round table sitting was also attended by the former prisoner of the ISIS Ekhlas Khudur Bazhoo, the story of whom about the atrocities of the Islamic State fighters shocked all the present.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic believes that such events will vividly demonstrate the problems in fight against the terrorism and extremism in the modern world for the wide public.
