Official Kiev not only continues to ignore calls for peace, but also cynically shells the territory of the Republic using terrorist methods. Today, a DPR soldier was killed because of an UAV shell. These are forbidden methods of war in the entire civilized world. We express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.

Noteworthy is the fact that the AFU purposefully and deliberately shell those areas where repair and restoration work is being carried out or planned:

- in the south of the Republic: in the area of the villages of Leninskoe - Vodyanoe, where work is underway to restore power supply;

- in the Donetsk direction: in the area of the villages of Staromikhaylovka - Krasnogorovka, an agreement was hardly reached to start repair and restoration measures on the branch of the gas pipeline GDS "Marinka - Krasnogorovka";

- in the Gorlovka direction: in the area of the settlement of mine 6/7, where a water conduit was recently restored on both sides;

- in the area of the village of Bogdanovka, where at the stage of coordinating the measures for the inspection and repair of power lines, the violations of ceasefire regime is also recorded for the second day.

Anticipating a public flurry of accusations of allegedly disrupting repair work, which is traditional for the Ukrainian party, we officially declare that the units of the DPR People’s Militia did not return fire when the armed formations of Ukraine fired Staromikhaylovka https://t.me/DNR_SCKK/4641). Also during the Contact Group meeting, our Plenipotentiary openly warned that we would be forced to revoke security guarantees if the AFU continued to violate the ceasefire in the area.

However, today the AFU used a banned UAV for military purposes, resulting in the death of a Republic’s defender. We estimate such actions of the Ukrainian side as a deliberate provocation and disruption of its earlier security guarantees.

The DPR Plenipotentiary officially notified the coordinator of the Contact Group and the leadership of the OSCE SMM about our decision to revoke security guarantees in this area. Also, the delegation head put forward an initiative to convene an extraordinary meeting of the working group on security issues in the format of a videoconference on the nearest consolidated date of the coming working week in order to resolve this situation as soon as possible.

We call on the Ukrainian party to stop manipulating security issues, sit down at the negotiating table and start working on a document on Measures to control and strengthen the ceasefire. The favorite Ukrainian technique does not work in this direction: they say one thing - they do another. The revocation of security guarantees is our forced retaliatory step to such provocations. We very much hope that they will end and the ceasefire will be maintained.
