While the Ukrainian delegates keep silence in the negotiations, the British Embassy expressed hope before the England-Ukraine match that the Ukrainian national team will soon be able to play in Donetsk.
The Donetsk People's Republic for sure is ready to provide the national team with such an opportunity by sending an official application to FIFA to host a few matches of the future World or European Football Championship in the DPR. Among other things, it can refer to the support of this initiative from the British Embassy in Ukraine.
We are happy to host the Ukrainian team in the framework of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the Donbass people and support for Russian-speaking citizens in Ukraine. They could reach us through the Novotroitskoye checkpoint near the New York. We are sure the British Embassy knows where it is. But with only one condition: the players will come, not the SBU agents, diversionists and other similar AFU contingent, for whose activities the Verkhovna Rada is now considering the laws. We will be able to organize excursions for sportsmen, provide them with the necessary conditions for training and preparation for competitions. We will be ready to help with the post-match press conference organization, especially since the Russian language is welcome in Donetsk.
But seriously, even such statements of London diplomats seem more like a proposal for the conflict settlement than the offer contained in the Kiev's plan of actions for the return of AFU units to their previously held positions in Donetsk without any political settlement.
